Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Title & Registration Billing Specialist to join our team. This role plays a crucial part in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently. We welcome candidates with relevant experience and a strong aptitude for financial analysis, even if they do not possess a college degree or certifications traditionally required for similar roles.
Responsibilities:
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Review invoices, verify billing codes, and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Assist in reconciling billing discrepancies and resolving issues with vendors and clients.
  • Maintain organized records of financial transactions and documentation.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to improve processes and efficiency.
  • Respond to inquiries from internal stakeholders and external partners regarding billing matters.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in accounting or finance is a plus.
  • Proven experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or related financial roles.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial records.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in a billing or financial analysis role.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve department goals.
