Overview: Anew Transport delivers high-end fleet management solutions for prestigious clients through a fully integrated facility that brings together Auto Body, Mechanical Repair, Upfitting, Graphic Design, Detailing, Parts, and Service—all under one roof. We are seeking a polished, detail-oriented Service Writer to act as the central point of contact between our clients and internal teams. This role requires excellent communication, multitasking skills, and a high degree of professionalism to ensure a seamless, white-glove experience for every vehicle we handle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for fleet service clients, ensuring clear, timely, and professional communication throughout the service process.
- Coordinate seamlessly across all departments—Auto Body, Repair, Upfitting, Graphics, Detailing, Parts, and Service—to manage work orders and track workflow.
- Create and manage repair orders, prepare estimates, and maintain detailed service documentation.
- Schedule client appointments, manage timelines, and oversee vehicle progress to ensure timely completion.
- Review and confirm the accuracy and quality of completed work prior to vehicle release.
- Proactively address and resolve client concerns with a premium service mindset.
- Collaborate with the Parts Department to ensure required parts are sourced and tracked efficiently.
- Work directly with technicians and department leads to clarify work instructions and maintain service accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a Service Writer or similar role in a professional, high-volume automotive or fleet environment.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, repair processes, and departmental coordination.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and organizational excellence in fast-moving environments.
- Proficiency in shop management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated professionalism and discretion in client-facing roles.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience working with executive, government, or corporate fleet accounts.
- Familiarity with estimating software such as CCC ONE or Mitchell.
